Multi-core wires for electrical installations with aluminum or copper conductors and insulation made of polyvinyl chloride plastic compound.
The arrangement of power and lighting networks, as well as the connection of equipment to the power system, is impossible without cable products. Cable PPV is often used for these purposes. CONSTRUCTION

1. Conductor – single-wire copper (for PPV wires) or aluminum (for APPV wires), 1st class according to DSTU EN 60228.
2. Insulation – made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compound of various colors. The insulation is applied to the parallel conductors with a separating tape layer, the nominal thickness of which is 0.5 mm, and the nominal width is not less than 1.0 mm. The color of the solid insulation must be specified in the order.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Operating ambient temperature from -50°C to +70°C.
Relative air humidity at +35°C – 100%.
Insulation electrical resistance:

• at acceptance and delivery 1×106 ohms;
  
• during the operation period 1×104 ohms.

The permissible long-term conductor heating temperature during operation is +70°C.
Wires are resistant to mold.
Wires are resistant to mechanical shocks, linear acceleration, bending, vibration loads, and acoustic noise.
Laying and installation of wires without preheating is carried out at a temperature not lower than -15°C.
The bending radius during installation is 10 times the external diameter of the wire.
The construction length of the wire is not less than 100 m.
The warranty period of operation is 2 years from the date of commissioning.
The service life of the wires is 15 years.

APPLICATION

The wires are used for electrical installations in stationary installations, in lighting and power networks, as well as for the installation of electrical equipment, machines, mechanisms, and machines at a nominal voltage of up to 450 V (for networks up to 450/750 V) at frequencies up to 400 Hz or DC voltage up to 1000 V.
Wires of the APPV and PPV brands are designed for single and bundled laying in trays, boxes, and other structures, pipes, flexible sleeves, and in cavities of building structures.
