The abbreviation KVVGng-LS, AKVVGng-LS stands for:

• A - aluminum conductor
• K - control cable;
• V - insulation made of polyvinyl chloride compound;
• V - polyvinyl chloride sheath used;

CONSTRUCTION

1. Conductor – single-core, copper or aluminum, 1st class according to DSTU EN 60228.
2. Insulation – made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compound, in cables with the "ng-LS (ngd)" index, the insulation is made of a low fire hazard PVC compound.
3. Stranding – insulated conductors are twisted together. The cables have a counting pair in each layer, where the colors of the insulation differ from one another and from other conductors in the layer.
4. Sheath – made of PVC compound with reduced combustibility, in cables with the index "ng-LS (ngd)" – made of low fire hazard PVC compound.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Operating ambient temperature from -50°C to +50°C. Relative air humidity at +35°C – 98%.
Electrical resistance of insulation at +20°C with a conductor cross-section of:

• from 0.75 to 1.5 mm² – not less than 10 MΩ;
• from 2.5 to 4 mm² – not less than 9 MΩ;
• from 6 to 10 mm² – not less than 6 MΩ.

Long-term allowable operating temperature of conductors +70°C.
The cables are resistant to installation bends.
The bending radius of non-armored cables with copper conductors during installation at an ambient temperature of not less than 0°C is:

• for cables with a diameter up to 10 mm inclusive – at least 3 times the diameter;
• for cables with a diameter from 10 to 25 mm inclusive – at least 4 times the diameter.

The bending radius of non-armored cables during installation without prior heating at an ambient temperature not lower than -15°C is at least 6 cable diameters.
Cable construction length – not less than 150 meters.
Warranty period – 3 years from the date of commissioning.
Service life – at least 15 years.
Service life in premises, ducts, tunnels – at least 25 years.

APPLICATION

Control cables are designed for connection to stationary electrical devices, apparatus, electrical distribution assemblies under alternating current voltage up to 660V with a frequency of up to 100Hz or direct current voltage up to 1000V.
For single and bundled installation in rooms, ducts, tunnels, in trays, boxes, pipes, flexible hoses in the absence of the danger of mechanical damage.
