Control cable with copper or aluminum conductors with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation and sheath.
Electromagnetic interference disrupts the operation of equipment and degrades technical performance. Its cause is the natural electromagnetic background and radiation from other installations and devices. The simplest, most reliable, and affordable way to localize interference is shielding, which is implemented using special cables.
The abbreviation KVVGE, AKVVGE stands for:

CONSTRUCTION

  1. Conductive core – single-wire, copper or aluminum, 1st class according to DSTU EN 60228.
  2. Insulation – made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic.
  3. Twisting – insulated cores are twisted together. The cables have a counting pair in each layer, the cores of which differ in insulation color from each other and from the other cores in the layer.
  4. Separation layer – applied over the twisted conductors, made of polyethylene terephthalate film or PVC plastic, with a thickness of at least 0.5 mm.
  5. Shield – made of copper foil 0.6 mm thick or aluminum foil 0.10 to 0.15 mm thick or aluminum flex tape 0.05 mm thick as a winding with overlap. A copper wire with a diameter of 0.4 mm to 0.6 mm must be laid under the shield.
  6. Sheath – made of PVC plastic.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Operating ambient temperature from -50°C to +50°C. Relative humidity at +35°C is 98%.
Electrical insulation resistance at +20°C for cross-sections:

The allowable long-term operating temperature for the conductive cores is +70°C. The cables are resistant to installation bends.
The bending radius of non-armored cables with copper conductors when laying at an ambient temperature not lower than 0°C is:

The bending radius of non-armored cables during laying and installation without preheating at an ambient temperature not lower than -15°C is at least 6 cable diameters.
Minimum construction cable length – not less than 150 meters.
Warranty period – 3 years from the date of commissioning.
Cable service life – at least 15 years.
Service life when laid in rooms, channels, tunnels – at least 25 years.

APPLICATION

Control cables are designed for connection to stationary electrical devices, apparatus, electrical distribution assemblies at alternating voltages up to 660 V with a frequency up to 100 Hz or direct voltages up to 1000 V.
For single installation in rooms, channels, tunnels, trays, ducts, pipes, and flexible conduits where there is no risk of mechanical damage, at sites requiring protection of electrical circuits from external electromagnetic interference.
