Wire with polyvinyl chloride plastic insulation, braided with cotton varnished yarn and shielded with tinned copper wires.
The abbreviation BPVLE is decoded as follows:

• B - onboard;
• P - wire;
• V - polyvinyl chloride plastic insulation, PVC;
• L - braid (wrap) of twisted cotton yarn;
• E - shielded.

CONSTRUCTION

1. Conductor – made of tinned copper wires, not lower than 5th flexibility class.
2. Insulation made of polyvinyl chloride plastic.
3. Braid (wrap) of twisted cotton yarn or a combination of twisted cotton yarn and synthetic fibers in a 1:1 ratio.
   The surface density coefficient of the braid is at least 90%.
   The wires are made with a fully dyed braid.
4. Shield made of tinned copper wires. The surface density coefficient of the shielding braid is at least 70%.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Operating temperature of the surrounding environment from -60 °C to +70 °C.
Relative humidity of the air at a temperature of +40 °C – 98%.
Wiring can be performed at ambient temperatures not lower than -30 °C.
Long-term allowable temperature for heating of the conductive cores during operation is +70 °C.
Electrical resistance of the insulation of the wires, calculated for 1 km length and temperature of 20 °C, for cross-sections up to 4 mm² – not less than 0.5 MΩ, for more than 4 mm² – not less than 0.01 MΩ.
Test alternating voltage with a frequency of 50 Hz, 1500 V.
Construction length of the cable is not less than 15 meters.
Warranty period of operation – 2 years from commissioning, but no more than 7 years from the date of manufacture.

APPLICATION

The wires are intended for stationary installation in aircraft. Also, installation is possible in unheated rooms and conditions of increased environmental aggressiveness at a voltage of up to 250 V AC with a frequency of up to 2000 Hz or 500 V DC.
