Flexible control cable with copper conductive wires with insulation and sheath made of polyvinyl chloride plastic.
The abbreviation KGNW-M stands for:

CONSTRUCTION

1. Current-carrying conductors are copper, round, multi-stranded, 5th flexibility class according to DSTU EN 60228.

2. Insulation made of polyvinyl chloride plastic (PVC). Each strand contains two counting cores - red and blue. The remaining cores are white.
3. Twisting - insulated cores are twisted together.
4. The sheath is made of oil-resistant polyvinyl chloride plastic (flame-retardant PVC plastic for cables with the "ng" index). The sheath color is blue.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Operating ambient temperature from -50°C to +50°C.
Long-term permissible temperature of conductor heating during operation - +70°C.
Electrical resistance of the conductors to direct current, recalculated per 1 km length of cable at a temperature of 20°C, must be no less than:

• upon acceptance and delivery – 7 MΩ;
• during operation and storage – 0.005 MΩ.

Test alternating voltage of nominal frequency 50 Hz for 5 minutes:

• 2.5 kV – upon acceptance and delivery for multi-core cables without immersion in water, and for single-core cables with immersion in water;
• 1.5 kV – during operation and storage.

Minimum bending radius during installation - 8 cable diameters.
Minimum construction length of the cable is 150 meters.
Warranty period – 4 years from the date of commissioning.
Bending radius of armored cables during laying and installation without preheating at an ambient temperature of at least -7°C – at least 10 cable diameters.
Construction length of the cable – at least 150 meters.
Warranty period – 3 years from the date of commissioning.
Service life of cables – at least 15 years.
Service life when laid in buildings, ducts, tunnels – at least 25 years.

APPLICATION

Cables are designed to connect mobile machines, mechanisms, and equipment to electrical networks and portable sources of electrical power at a nominal alternating voltage of 660 V or nominal direct voltage of 1000 V, where resistance to oils, diesel fuel, and sunlight exposure is required.
