Power cable with insulation and sheath made of polyvinyl chloride plastic for a nominal voltage of 660 V and 1000 V at a frequency of 50 Hz.
The abbreviation VVG-P stands for:

• V – vinyl insulation of conductors;
• V – vinyl sheath;
• G – flexible;
• P – flat cable form.

CONSTRUCTION

1. The current-carrying conductors must be single-wire or multi-wire, class 1-2 flexibility, made of copper according to GOST EN 60228.


2. Insulation made of polyvinyl chloride plastic (PVC). The insulation of the conductors must have excellent coloring or be marked with numbers. The color of the insulation for single-core and two-core cables is not standardized. The marking should be continuous, and longitudinal stripes of at least 2 mm in width are allowed.


3. Twisting – insulated conductors twisted together.
4. Sheath – made of polyvinyl chloride plastic.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

The operating temperature of the surrounding environment ranges from -50°C to +50°C.
The maximum allowable temperature for heating the current-carrying conductors during operation is +70°C.
The electrical resistance of the current-carrying conductors for direct current, recalculated for 1 km length and 20°C temperature, complies with GOST EN 60228.
The electrical resistance of the insulation, recalculated for 1 km length, at the maximum allowable heating temperature of the current-carrying conductors of 70°C, must not be less than 5 kOhm.
The test alternating voltage with a frequency of 50 Hz is 3000 V for cables with a nominal voltage of 0.660 kV, and 3500 V for cables with a nominal voltage of 1.0 kV for 10 minutes.
The minimum bending radius during installation is 8 times the diameter of the cable.
The construction length of the cable is at least 200 meters.
The warranty period of operation is 5 years from the commissioning date.
