The abbreviation PTV-HK stands for:

• P – wire (Provod in original);
• T – thermoelectrode;
• V – PVC insulator;
• HK – core made of Chromel and Copel alloys.

CONSTRUCTION

1. Single-core conductor made of Chromel and Copel alloy.
2. Polyvinyl chloride plastic insulation with separation between the cores. The insulated cores are color-coded and marked with a stripe:
   • Copel alloy is marked with purple or black color;
   • A stripe indicates the Chromel alloy.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Operating temperature range: from -40 to +70 °C.
Relative air humidity at +35 °C – 98%.
Installation of wires can be carried out at ambient temperatures not lower than -15 °C.
Electrical insulation resistance of the wires, calculated per 1 meter at 20 °C, is no less than 1000 MΩ.
Electrical insulation resistance of the wire, measured at relative humidity up to 98% and temperature of (35 ± 3) °C after 48 hours of exposure, recalculated per 1 meter, is no less than 100 MΩ.
Test voltage: 1500 V, 50 Hz for 5 minutes.
Cable construction length: at least 100 meters.
Warranty period: 2 years from the date of commissioning.

APPLICATION

The wires are designed for connection to temperature measuring devices. Suitable for indoor installations, pipes, and inside devices at operating temperatures from -40 to +70 °C.
