Wires with polyvinyl chloride plastic insulation in lacquered braid.
The abbreviation BPVL stands for:

• B - onboard;
• P - wire;
• V - insulation from polyvinyl chloride plastic, PVC;
• L - braid (wrapping) made of twisted cotton yarn.

CONSTRUCTION

1. Conductive core – made of copper wires tinned with tin, of flexibility class 5 or higher.
2. Insulation from polyvinyl chloride plastic.
3. Braid (wrapping) made of twisted cotton yarn or a braid of twisted cotton yarn and synthetic threads in a 1:1 ratio.
   Surface density of the braid is not less than 90%.
   Wires are made with solid-color braiding.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Operating temperature range of the surrounding environment is from -60 °C to +70 °C.
Relative air humidity at a temperature of +40 °C – 98%.
Installation of wires can be performed at an ambient temperature not lower than -30 °C.
Long-term permissible temperature of conductive cores during operation is +70 °C.
Electrical resistance of wire insulation, calculated per 1 km length and temperature of 20 °C, for cross-sections up to 4 mm² – no less than 0.5 MΩ, more than 4 mm² – no less than 0.01 MΩ.
Test AC voltage frequency 50 Hz 1500 V.
Minimum cable construction length is 15 meters.
Warranty period – 2 years from the date of commissioning, but no more than 7 years from the manufacturing date.

APPLICATION

Wires are intended for fixed installation of the electrical network in aircraft at voltages up to 250 V of alternating current with a frequency of up to 2000 Hz or 500 V of direct current
