The abbreviation PGVA stands for:

• P - wire;
• G - flexible;
• V - PVC compound insulation;
• A - automotive.

CONSTRUCTION

1. Conductive core – copper, multi-stranded, round-shaped, Class 6 according to DSTU EN 60228:2015. PGVAL wires are made of tinned copper wires.
2. The insulation of the conductive cores of PGVA wires should be made of heat-resistant PVC compound.
   The wires have solid or combined coloring.
   Combined coloring is achieved by combining parallel longitudinal stripes of two colors, one of which is the primary color. The auxiliary color consists of one or two stripes.
   The designation of the main and auxiliary colors of the insulation is as follows:
   • W - white (uncolored);
   • Y - yellow;
   • O - orange;
   • R - red (burgundy);
   • P - pink;
   • B - blue (light blue);
   • G - green;
   • Br - brown;
   • Bl - black;
   • V - violet, not used as an auxiliary color.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

PGVA wires are designed for operation at temperatures from -40 °C to +70 °C.
Installation and operational bends with a bending radius of no less than 10 times the maximum wire diameter are permitted at temperatures not lower than -60 °C.
Cable length: at least 100 m for wires with a nominal cross-section from 0.35 to 25 mm² and at least 50 m for wires with a nominal cross-section from 35 to 95 mm².
Warranty period – 2 years from the date of commissioning.
Service life – 10 years.

APPLICATION

For connecting automotive electrical equipment and devices with a nominal voltage up to 48V DC.
