The abbreviation PTL-200 stands for:

• P – wire (in Ukrainian);
• T – heat-resistant;
• L – lacquered fiberglass;
• 200 – maximum temperature in degrees Celsius.

CONSTRUCTION

1. Conductive cores made of tinned copper wires.
2. Insulation:
• fluoroplastic film insulation with an overlap of at least 15%;
• fiberglass wrapping impregnated with silicone-organic lacquer.
3. Fiberglass braid impregnated with silicone-organic lacquer.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Maximum operating temperature of wires – up to 200 °C.
Operating temperature range – from -60 °C to 170 °C.
Relative humidity at +35 °C – 98%.
Insulation resistance per 1 km of length at 20 °C – not less than 1000 MΩ.
Test voltage at 50 Hz – 1500 V, for 1 minute.
Cable length not less than 20 meters.
Service life – 20 years from the moment of commissioning.

APPLICATION

The wires are intended for fixed installation in aircraft onboard systems and operation at voltages up to 250 V DC or AC with a frequency up to 5000 Hz.
The wire is resistant to vibration, shock, and linear loads, as well as acoustic noise. The wires are also resistant to low atmospheric pressure down to 2 kPa (15 mm Hg), salt mist, and mold fungi.
